10 Most Unique Wedding Venues in Somerset.
Are you on the hunt for a unique wedding venue in Somerset? If so, then stick around. As a wedding photographer, I find that couples are spoilt for choice when it comes to wedding venues in the county, however choosing one is another matter! With complete honesty, I have not shot at every wedding venue I have listed, but they are either on my dream list, or they are venues that I have attended as a guest, or they are venues that I find so unique I just had to include them (with of course with the hopes of working at them one day too). As a wedding photographer in Somerset, I hope you find this list of any use and I will look to update this blog as I get to photograph at each venue more in the future. With that being said, here are my 10 most unique Somerset wedding venues:
Haselbury Mill -
With a wedding booked here this year (2025), Haselbury Mill embodies rustic elegance amidst serene countryside landscapes. With its historic mill buildings and charming surroundings, it offers couples a romantic setting for their special day, perfect for those seeking a blend of history and natural beauty. Haselbury Mill, funnily enough, is where my wife and I got married in 2017, so there is probably a little bit of a bias here for the first venue listed on this blog.
Priston Mill -
With two weddings now under my belt, Priston Mill seamlessly combines historic character with contemporary style, nestled against the backdrop of rolling Somerset hills. Couples can expect to get a venue that exudes sophistication and tradition, making it an ideal choice for a wedding that effortlessly blends the old with the new. I look forward to working at Priston Mill in 2025 and 2026.
Glastonbury Wedding & Events Venue -
Reflecting the mystical essence of its namesake town, Glastonbury Wedding and Events Venue enchants couples with its magical gardens and panoramic views. Here, amidst enchanting surroundings, couples can create a wedding imbued with a sense of wonder and mystique. A local venue to myself, I look forward to all the weddings I have booked in for 2025 and 2026.
